The World of Naked John is truly an artist's show. With his first solo exhibtion in more than ten years, the artist/photographer Dennis Olanzo Callwood introduces us to the 1990s world of performance artist John A. Mozzer (aka Naked John) by placing him in both real and fabricated spaces. At haphazard gallery, Callwood conceptualized and produced this exhibition. Callwood was born in Savan, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands in 1942. His work has been shown internationally and is in the collection of agnes b., Paris France, Giuliano Gori, Florence Italy, and Jane and Michael Wilson, London England. Callwood holds an MFA in photography from the University of Southern California and a BA in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. His work is represented by Charles Isaacs Photographs Inc., New York.
